2024 Festival Resounded in Harmony!

The 9th Annual festival of the ICOPR, Vivamos en Armonía | May we Live in Harmony, welcomed children and audiences from Culebra, Dorado, San Juan, Ponce & Mayagüez to its 9 concerts, 7 children’s concerts, 32 masterclasses and 5,000,000+ television audience for its Live Broadcasted concerts.  27 Young Artists joined ICOPR’s artist-faculty to share the power of music, unity and peace for thousands island-wide gaining experience using music as a powerful tool for social change.

This season, ICOPR received continued awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Humanidades Puerto Rico, National Endowment for the Humanities, Titin Foundation and Fundación Angel Ramos for their work providing free experiences of the arts for communities throughout Puerto Rico.

About Us

Founded by husband and wife duo, Emilio and Cara Elise Colón, the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico brings creative and accessible experiences of the arts for kids and communities throughout Puerto Rico. Since its founding in 2016, the ICOPR has won numerous awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Fundación Puertorriqueña de las Humanidades, and the Fundación Angel Ramos for their work providing free experiences of the arts for communities island-wide. As social entrepreneurs, Cara and Emilio have brought together a loyal and committed family of supporters dedicated to creating a brighter future through the power of the arts.
